New Mexico State University is an affiliated member of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), which is the largest student run organization in the world. Together with schools from across the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, we form the Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (IACURH). IACURH is one of eight regions within NACURH. NMSU and the other member institutions of IACURH work together to improve the lives of the residents not only on our own campuses, but also within the IACURH region and all across the nation and world. The primary way in which NMSU does this is by sending delegations of students to attend the annual IACURH and NACURH conferences.
Join NMSU at a Conference!
At an IACURH or NACURH conference NSMU delegates will meet students from campuses all around the region and the globe. At a conference you will be able to experience a variety of programs and events put on by students teaching things like Leadership, Programming, Sustainability, Social justice and many other categories. Attending a conference can open a lot of doors in your future. From becoming an RA, to joining the RHA Executive Board or just becoming a better leader, going to conference can help you get there! Not sure what role you want to take on next? Attending a conference is a great way to develop your leadership skills and learn more that can help you with any future plans. Best of all, NMSU RHA covers the cost of the conference, travel, lodging and meals during the conference!
